Botox is can have a variety of uses in the dental field.  Most commonly it is used for patients suffering from TMJ pain.  Botox can help patients who grind and often clench their teeth during the day and are suffering from associated pain.  By strategically placing Botox in the facial muscles, we can help these patients who have often, had a life time of associated pain and dental wear from Bruxism.

As a member of American Academy of Facial Esthetics, here at Lifetime Dental we of course can also use Botox in cosmetic procedures.  Often times, patients who complain of showing too much gum when they smile can have Botox placed to improve the appearance of their lips and often the appearance of the teeth.
